Details
Daily, between 9,00 and 16,00 you can leave your kids here, and we will take care of them, and teach them to ski. We offer lunch and 1 hour or longer ski lessons. Lessons and ski rent according to our prices.
At the PATTY Ski School we have a tool named "carousel", which has four arms in 90° degrees on a cylinder that turns both directions.
With this tool it is easy to learn how to turn in both directions, which is a basic skill in skiing, not to mention snowboarding. Using this tool you can easily learn the basic positions, how to balance and turn.
We have 2 elevators each 150 meters long right at the scene of the lessons. Every one can learn to ski well at us!
The ski course price includes the tickets for the lifts and the use of Funpark.
For the courses on the other ski lifts you have to purchase the ski passes.
SKIING
| Level 1: | I have never skied. |
| Level 2: | I have a good wedge and can sometimes turn and stop. I am ready to ride a lift. |
| Level 3: | I can link turns without stopping. I feel good on easy green terrain and can ride the chairlift. |
| Level 4: | I am comfortable on green terrain and ready to try some easy blue runs. I am skiing with some speed and control, while bringing my skis parallel at the end of the turn. |
| Level 5: | I feel comfortable on all green and some blue runs. My turns are rhythmic and my skis are parallel halfway through the turn. |
| Level 6: | I am confident on groomed blue terrain and ready to explore groomed blacks. I start my turn with a pole plant and my skis are in a wide parallel stance. |
| Level 7: | Black runs are okay when they are groomed. I am making linked turns and need to work on controlling my speed. |
| Level 8: | I seek out black runs and have tried variable snow conditions. I am linking short radius turns in the fall line. |
| Level 9: | Blacks are a piece of cake. I am working on tactics and line in challenging conditions. |
SNOWBOARDING
| Level 1: | I have never snowboarded. |
| Level 2: | I can slide across the hill both ways and stop. |
| Level 3: | I can control my speed while moving across the hill and am starting to turn. |
| Level 4: | I can turn in both directions with speed control and am starting to link turns. |
| Level 5: | I am linking skidded turns while controlling my speed and starting to try blue terrain. |
| Level 6: | I am confident on most blue terrain under good conditions and beginning to carve turns. |
| Level 7: | I am fine tuning dynamic turns and seeking more challenging terrain, including bumps as well as varying snow conditions. |
| Level 8: | I am confident performing dynamic turns and exploring techniques in all snow conditions and terrain. |
| Level 9: | I can ride the entire mountain with confidence and ease. I am working on tactics and new moves in extreme terrain. |
